Brynn's Shades

At Brynn's 4 year check up the pediatrician was concerned about her eyes. He recommended we see a specialist to be certain everything was ok, so we made the soonest appointment which was 4 months out. In April we finally made it to the dr and it was fun for both kids. The appointment was in the childrens hospital in West Jordan, and it was packed with fun kid stuff. There were movies for the kids to watch in the exam room, all the nurses and dr's were super nice. There were lots of games, coloring, activities, and fun things to look at while we waited for Brynn's eyes to dilate. When her eyes were ready to do the final part of the exam they gave her these shades to wear over her sensitive eyes. She thought she was so cool! And she loved them. When everything was done and we were assured her eyes were in perfect condition, Brynn and Austin wanted to stay to play with the toys. We stayed a little longer and then took time to look at the cool murals on the way out. You know they do a great job of making kids feel comfortable when they don't want to leave. Oh and the bottom right photo, she told me she wanted to pose like a rock star in her shades. She has quite the interest in 'rock stars'.

While I was taking Brynn's pictures at home Austin was cheesing it. He would say 'cheeeese' with quite the smile, I had to take some of him as well.
